The Foundation at the heart of research in art history
In 2022, the FARMO launched its first edition of doctoral scholarships attributed to three young researchers in the history of art. Each year, a new edition of the FARMO scholarship is open to research students to accompany them and strengthen the community of young researchers. These new scholarships fall under the prefiguration of the Orsay Museum’s ‘Centre de Recherches et de Ressources (Center for Research and Resources, or CRR) – Daniel Marchesseau,’ with an expected opening in 2027. Situated in the Hôtel de Mailly-Nesle, in immediate proximity of the Orsay Museum, the CRR will become an international research center in art history on the period ranging from 1848 to 1914.
